The Yard at Chicago Shakespeare offers a configurable space for theatrical performances of many sizes beneath an existing protective tent. By fully modeling the oddly shaped space and carefully considering the unusual loads that would be placed on it by movable seating towers, the structural engineers were able to precisely fit an impeccable new performance venue within the existing space.
