Study on Effect of Taxi Quantity to Taxi Split Rate
Determination of Urban taxi quantity plays an important role in promoting the development of urban public transportation and economizing road resources. Rational taxi quantity can also increase the efficiency of taxi running. Firstly, this paper takes taxi unloaded ratio, sharing ratio, average operation speed, average daily operation time and price of taxi as parameters in order to put forward a model of taxi quantity based on a calculating model of unloaded ratio. Using Geijing as a case study, this paper works out taxi quantity of Beijing, analyzes in depth the relationship among unloaded ration, sharing ratio and quantity, discusses the effect of quantity on unloaded ratio and sharing ratio, and confirms the range of sharing ratio for Beijing taxis.
