A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
The purpose of this paper is to present evidence that, contrary to the usual assumptions, intersecting flows may not necessarily be combined using vector addition of velocities or momentum flux densities. This may be of value to those involved in the development of mathematical models for intersecting flows, eg., bank discharges into a cross-flow.
