PENGARUH BEBAN GERAKAN SLOSHING PADA DINDING TANGKI RUANG MUAT KAPAL TANKER 17500 DWT
The purpose of this paper was to predict internal sloshing loads on partially filled tank of cargo tankers. The simulation are presented for a cargo tank whose motion was according with ship motion simulation. The method is numerical and two-dimensional tank simulation was performed. This interface, which was at least one cell wide, amounted to 0.04 m at full scale. The aim was to knew (1) the effect of frequency and amplitude of waves on fluid sloshing in the cargo tank, (2) the value of the additional load received by the cargo tank due to sloshing motions, and (3) decreased the additional loads due to sloshing in the cargo tank. The simulation of cargo tanker no 1 starboard with partially filled tanks demonstrated the plausibility of this approach. The validation taken from the journal by Peric et al. Comparative experimental data were unavailable for validation. however, results were plausible and encouraged further validation
