This final thesis presents the analysis of Building Information Model usage in Facilities Management. The main Facility Management aspects and problems are analysed and the advantages and disadvantages of Building Information Model are evaluated. The thesis explores the relationship between the Building Information Model and the Facilities Management. The thesis introduces interviews with BIM and Facilities Management experts in Lithuania about BIM development and use in the Facilities Management. The effectiveness of BIM use in the Facilities Management is analysed with the help of SWOT and PESTEL analysis. The guidelines to the Facility Management company for using BIM are created. The thesis comprises of an introduction, 4 main parts: facility management, building information model (BIM), the analysis of the building information model usage in facilities management, the analysis of the building information model usage in facilities management company, the conclusions and the list of references. Volume – 91 pages without appendixes, 6 tables, 15 illustrations, 80 references. Appendixes attached separately.
