Final thesis considers the improvement principles and development opportunities of public urban special structure in the central part of Jurbarkas. In the second half of the 20th century the central part of Jurbarkas was severaly deformed it was caused by massive growth of the city – the historical heritage, urban and natural contexts are underestimated, formed in functional zoning affected solutions – dissolve the town. Master thesis consists of historic analysis, research of the system of urban spaces, therefore a theoretical model is developed to discribe the evolution of its urban structure. After the research the main problem of analyzed territory in the central part of Jurbarkas concludes that urban special structure are unsettled, and the urban block structure are unformed. The theorical development model is based on the analysis of the spacial structure of the central part of the city. In the experimental part of the thesis an architectural urban concept covers the area located between the complex of municipality, the church and bus station. In terms of spatial, cultural, functional aspects, the system of urban spaces the central part of the city, the environment, the network of urban public spaces are set; links between structural urban elements and the river Nemunas are developed. Structure: work consists of graphic material (10 drawing sheets 70x100cm) and text part: introduction, analytical and methodical, analytical and research; experimental parts; conclusions and appendices - copies of graphical material, models (scale 1:500, 1:250).
