In the final work of master thesis were made a research of fire resistance of wooden elements. The thesis consist of three main parts. The first part defines preparation of the use of wooden elements and their protection from the fire. In the second part were dealt with fire – resistant material. In the third part of the research the wooden samples were covered with different refractory materials. A destription of the research is written and drawn up in the charts. The fire resistance test carried out, which showed the influence of the temperature of the flame retardant efficiency solutions. It also examinated the influence of wood impregnation technology influence for determining fire resistance.
