The final thesis presents a project of the Educational building in Elektrėnai. The project was prepared in accordance with legislative acts of the Republic of Lithuania and the relevant requirements. The geological exploration and geodetic measurements were carried out in order to determine the suitability of the building lot and to prepare a lot plan. Following the analysis of constant and variable loads and the appropriate calculations, load-bearing structures were chosen. The thesis provides for truss of steel, truss of composite, and wooden beam , and compares the truss and beam economically. Technological card includes truss mounting schemes, costs and work schedule. The thesis moreover discusses compliance of the designed building with labor protection and environmental protection requirements.
