Brownfield - it is barren, derelict desert, swamp, a place where nothing growing. Brownfield is part of the landscape. Landscape areas, introduced business purposes, are anthropogenic. Brownfield arising from anthropogenic landscape, is known as anthropogenical brownfield. Most of them are formed when the political, economic or social changes in the economic activity was interrupted and the buildings or other objects failed its previous functions, and no one was unnecessary. Anthropogenic brownfield are agricultural, urban, forestry, industry and others. Lithuania is not a detailed knowledge of the number of abandoned buildings, their condition, ownership, legal status, the levels of pollution, the demolition and disposal options. Therefore, it is important to examine how much and what brownfield of the country, what their current condition and how to transform them into operational and esthetic objects. The work of the plenty of information about the various uses brownfield occurrence, prevalence, and summarized in a population survey, widely discussed in the selected concept brownfield (Kaunas city and Fort Skuodas district industrial facility). In addition, given valuable information about how similar problems in the U.S. and European countries. Lithuania through the already existing good practices, as the abandoned buildings new life can be raised (Kaunas Akropolis, IX Fortas, some agricultural buildings), and the examination of foreign experience, the work attempts to provide a derelict industrial district Skuodas object, the rest of the Soviet, restructuring plan. However, the anthropogenial brownfield Lithuania is of a little attention and the topic remains open for future researchers.
