Research aim: to develop relative farm sustainability assessment tool that integrates sustainable economic, social and environmental dimensions as well as customized FADN data and perform Lithuanian family farm sustainability assessment. In pursuing the set aim the dissertation deals with the following tasks: 1) to identify the peculiarities of the agricultural sustainability at the micro level in the context of interpretations of sustainable agriculture conceptions; 2) to determine the indicators characterizing the main dimensions of sustainability, adaptability for the assessment of farm sustainability and conditions of indicators frameworks development; 3) to define the adaptation of the FADN data to assess farm sustainability; 4) to establish the relative farm sustainability assessment tool adapted to FADN data; 5) according to the developed relative sustainability assessment tool to assess the sustainability of family farms in Lithuania.
