Monument to Schiller
View of the Schiller Monument, located near the junction of East Main, University and Union Streets. The monument is a tribute to German poet and playwright Fredrich Schiller. It was commissioned in 1908 by Rochester's German population. The monument was later removed to Andrews and Franklin Street because of the construction of the Inner Loop.
