Office Block in Alpnach
This new administration building of the Swiss timber construction concern Küng is situated in Alpnach in the canton of Obwalden near Lucerne. The four-storey structure with a rectangular layout embodies the firm’s philosophy of simple timber construction without the use of adhesives and composite materials. It was erected with a palpable corporate identity, using the company’s own solid timber building system, and it provides space for 25 employees in single- and two-person offices as well as discussion areas, a ground-floor cafeteria and an exhibition space in the roof storey.
In Alpnach im Kanton Obwalden in der Nähe von Luzern liegt der neue Verwaltungsbau des Schweizer Holzbauunternehmens Küng. Das viergeschossige Gebäude mit rechteckigem Grundriss verkörpert die Unternehmensphilosophie des einfachen Bauens mit Holz ohne Kleb- und Verbundstoffe. Im Sinne einer greifbaren Corporate Identity wurde das Gebäude mit dem firmeneigenen Massivholzbausystem errichtet. Es bietet Raum für 25 Mitarbeiter in Einzel- und Zweierbüros sowie Besprechungsräume, eine Cafeteria im Erdgeschoss und einen Ausstellungsraum im Dachgeschoss.
