Partisans square in Užice is among the highest quality achievements of Modern architecture in the Balkans. Urban solution is particularly interesting because it integrate the large number of areas and elements: vertical alignment, proportion, perspective, volumes, pedestrian paths, pedestrian barriers, green, etc. In addition, urban design has subtly integrated into the existing urban matrix that is built on the foundations of urbanism of the 19th century. The aim of this paper is to analyze urban solutions and help to better understand the Moderne architecture of Jugoslavija.
