Percepção ambiental de produtores rurais na recuperação florestal da sub-bacia hidrográfica do rio Poxim – Sergipe
In Sergipe State the remaining Atlantic Forest area is estimated at about 9% of its original area. Among the most impacted vegetation areas are the springs and riparian forests of rivers. In this sense, some actions have been developed as a way to reverse this situation of degradation, such as public policy and forest recovery projects. The research had as objective to analyze the environmental perception of rural producers who participate on the Preserving Springs and Municipalities Program, in the Sub-basin of Poxim River. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 11 rural producers involved in the forest recovery process. Such interviews were analyzed based on the methodology of Collective Subject Discourse (DSC). The results indicate that forest recovery projects must be tied to wider proposals, such as productive points.
