ERGONOMIC VALIDATION OF A REHABILITATION GAME DESIGN CONCEPT FOR POST-STROKE CONDITIONS
The article presents a design concept for a multimedia rehabilitation application for individuals with vision impairment after stroke or injury. The ergonomic considerations concern requirements for the application’s content taking into account its intended use, patient’s health status and psycho-physiological capabilities, and interactions between attending staff (clinicians, medical staff, relatives), the patient, and the application in the course of the rehabilitation program. This approach also enables the process of interaction between the user and the application’s functionalities to be optimized to facilitate the achievement of the desired therapeutic effect.
