Siting of lines of observation stations with regard to positions of workings and of public and industrial buildings; duration of subsidence in relation to depth and rate of advance of workings; angle of draw in advance of face is distinguished from static angle; inclination of strata is shown to alter angle of draw to dip and rise, and to displace subsidence through towards deepside.
