Project pertaining to unloading wharf for steel-making materials
Correlation between number of berths and capacity of unloaders of steel-making materials at Yawata Port, Japan, by quantitatively obtaining unloading efficiency necessary for each number of berths with respect to vessels which actually made port; wider applicability of study results to other types of vessels by introducing marginal tonnage of freight and coefficient called efficiency ratio are shown. In Japanese with English abstract.
