Fundamental studies on methods of practice for prepacked concrete
Methods and practices in use of prepacked concrete have been applied to construction and rehabilitation of dams, piers, revetment works, etc; problems investigated include chemical reaction of powdered aluminum as grout expanding agent, influence of admixtures and mixer efficiency on consistency of grout mixture, relation between proportions of grout and strength of prepacked concrete, adequate amount of expansion of grout mixture, and difference in strength between upper and lower parts of prepacked concrete columns. In Japanese with English abstract.
