Computer technique for perspective plotting of roadways
Computers were used at Texas Transportation Institute, Texas A and M University to prepare perspective views of roadway; IBM 7094 digital computer was used in numerical methods of research, and Calcomp Model 565 digital plotter linked to IBM 1401 digital computer was used to draw individual roadway plots; methods developed are said to provide new tool to be used in design of roadways to fit driver's need; any object along roadway, as well as roadway itself, may be viewed in perspective.
