On shear strength of normally-consolidated clay measured in Vane tests
Results of investigation of effective normal stress on failure surfaces at stage of maximum shear resistance in vane test and effect of anisotropic consolidation stress on shear strength measured in vane test; effective normal stress on failure surface at failure in vane test is nearly equal to initial consolidation stress; maximum shear stress developed on horizontal failure surface on vane is essentially independent of horizontal consolidation stress. (In Japanese with English abstract)
