Effect of silicon on phase composition of KhN70M alloy; on basis of investigation with various silicon concentrations and analyses, it is concluded that silicon in this alloy promotes precipitation of carbide and α-phases; results from investigation of phase composition of alloy KhN70M with different silicon concentrations (0.06 to 1.5%) after various heat treatments inducing susceptibility to intercrystalline corrosion are presented.
