Precast channel shaped slabs of lightweight concrete were used for 45, 000 sq ft of grandstand decking at Hollywood Park racetrack in Los Angeles; slabs, 10 ft 7 in. long, 18 in. wide and 6 in. deep, are reinforced with wire mesh in web and 1/2 in. bars in flanges; photographs of construction stages.
