Chuting concrete 175 prime vertically with no regrets
Methods used in building concrete retaining wall 300 ft down cliff and steep hillside to bottom of tower at Sea Lion Caves on coast of Oregon; concrete was placed through wooden chute 125 ft long, to point 75 ft above top of tower and from there by 5 in .diam 16-gage steel pipe; baffles prevented segregation; results reported satisfactory.
