Following complete renewal of ballast on New York Central's double track, 977-ft bridge over Niagara gorge between Niagara Falls, Ont, and Suspension Bridge, NY, which involved careful cleaning and repair of old deck waterproofing and drainage systems, final ballast section was surfaced with 2 in. of asphalt paving material as top waterproofing; details of how work was carried out.
