Consolidation of floor dust on mine roadways
Trials made in South Yorkshire coal field; principle involved is to bind floor dust with sufficient water (about 10%) to make dust into plastic and nearly firm carpet; deliquescent material added in amount to maintain 10% of moisture in floor material; dust should first be wetted by water containing wetting agent; cost data. Before Midland Inst Min Engrs.
