Concrete prismatic shell reinforces 85-year-old brick church tower
Church of brick, at Binghamton, NY, built in 1860-1862 and rebuilt in 1863 after fire, was reinforced from within by means of concrete prism which supports shattered brickwork and provides ample resistance to wind forces; removing steeple and changing exterior appearance was unnecessary.
