Bridge over Sandy Hook, Md, is continuous multiple span steel deck truss superstructure, supported on concrete piers and abutments; total length divided into four 3-span continuous units of 494-570-570-494 ft length and 2 I-beam end spans of 46 and 67 ft respectively; concrete for deck and handrail placed by pumping; structure designed for 20-ton trucks.
