Spray hydro electric power development
Calgary Power Limited recently completed construction of hydroelectric project on Spray River, tributary of Bow, which joins latter at Banff; by means of extensive diversion works it was possible to utilize gross head of 1285 ft; this necessitated construction of three plants, with aggregate installed capacity of 88,600 hp; features of development, and its construction; difficulties encountered and how these were overcome.
