Practical means of building safety into streets and highways
Author points out that whether any given means of building safety into street or highway is practical or not, depends upon various factors, most important of which is usually relation between cost and available funds; summarizes two main phases of construction problem, first concerns ordinary thoroughfares, and second involves so-called superhighways; intersections; railway grade crossings. Paper presented before Nat. Safety Council.
