Armco corrugated iron pipe was selected; Armco jacking method adopted as logical and most satisfactory method of installation; detailed description of steps followed indicates adaptability of jacking method to conditions that could not have been foreseen; jacking trench; lining timbers; bearing block; substantial saving made.
