Interaction of longwall workings
Paper deals chiefly with series of tests where two seams, lower one 4 1/2 ft thick with fakey sandstone roof, and upper 3 1/4 ft thick with blaes roof, separated vertically by 71 ft of strata; total thickness of cover above lower seam was about 1160 ft; interaction appears to depend upon rate and magnitude of strata movements induced.
