Nottingham's Clifton bridge opened to traffic
Prestressed concrete bridge with overall width of 46 ft 3 in., has single roadway crossing with future dual roadway in mind; bridge consists of single 275-ft span over bed of river, with 125 ft span on either side. (see also Concrete and Constr Eng v 53 n 6 June 1958 p 244, 245-6)
