A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Problem in designing shallow buried shelters concerned with loads in range of 25 to 500 psi is analyzed to determine soil-structure interaction and other dominant parameters and define areas in which further research is needed; treatment and findings and conclusions are limited to case of thin-metal cylinders with shallow burial in uniform noncohesive soil field.
