Movement of articulated buildings on subsidence sites
Buildings investigated were specially designed to tolerate definite amount of subsidence without distress and measurements were made to establish whether movements occurring in practice agree with theoretical assumptions; explanation of subsidence features of design and measuring program on three-story block are described; results obtained on foundation, on roof, and at subsidence joint are given.
