Three precast bearing walls
Design of precast load-bearing panels that consist of one-story high column and spandrel; panel is 10 ft wide by 11 ft 2 in. high; while narrower columns are solid, wider columns have hollow section to provide space for pipes and ducts; connection method utilizes dowel reinforcement to tie one column to another; to insure structural continuity, dowel holes are pressure grouted through small channels which are connected to dowel holes.
