Earthquake resistant design of long span suspension bridge towers
Simple method of dynamic design for earthquake resistance of suspension bridge towers with use of earthquake spectrum diagram is discussed; numerical example is given to compare three methods of design; equations of motion for towers are obtained and solved using theory of modal analysis. English summary.
