449.2 m long sevenspan prestressed concrete bridge is built as continuous beam on fixed or horizontally sliding bearings, without expansion joint in its total length from abutment to abutment; roadway is divided lengthwise into two symmetric halves, each 15 m wide and each carried by continuous box girder supported on rectangular hollow reinforced concrete piers 57 m above water level; new cantilever method of construction, combined with cable suspension of spans being built, is described.
