Construction methods used for building structures of new terminal and finger buildings; central building was designed on system of 24 piers, each pier being seat for one of concrete inverted-arch beams, 24 of which join at center around 24-ft diam steel compression ring; beams were cast at site in exact position they were to assume when placed on top of piers.
