A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
New method developed by Grinnell Co, Inc, Providence, RI, extinguishes hot asphalt fires in few seconds, inhibits boilover of asphalt and does job with one of least expensive water additive solutions commercially available; solution is specific aqueous compounding of higher sodium alkyl sulphates with added organic materials of undisclosed composition, made by Carbide and Carbon Chemicals Corp.
