Penetration macadam, design and construction
Basic principles of Rhode Island design, consisting of: stabilized subsoil or subgrade plus adequate drainage facilities; layer of crushed stone compacted and bound together with sand or crusher dust; layer of crushed stone penetrated and sealed with asphalt.
