A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Design and erection of prefabricated stadium are discussed; special attention is given to connections between precast members and to criteria that governed economical prefabrication of structure; new stadium for city of Santiago de Cuba is described; stadium was built with initial capacity of 10,000 seats; conventional reinforced concrete methods of construction were eliminated because there was severe shortage of lumber for formwork.
