Brunoy garage is illustrated and briefly described; its construction, in standard steel joists, is almost entirely welded; steel framework includes roof and constant radius helicoidal access ramp for vehicles; square-section tubes used for ramp constitute safety cage; access ramp consists of hollow floor units covered by concrete slab, whole is supported by steel joists bearing on channel-section stringers; square tubes serve as stanchions and carry upper levels of ramp; lightness of structure results from almost total absence of horizontal members.
