Andalusite-bearing rocks of northern slope of Bargushat Range
Deposit is located in Armenia and formed due to hydrothermal alteration of fractured porphyries and tuffs, silicification, and introduction of alumina; andalusite-bearing zone is 4-5 km long, 100-500 m wide and contains up to 25% alumina with some gold and silver.
