Job involved paving 120 acres of parking apron and taxiway surrounding finger-type passenger concourses that join 2 new passenger terminal buildings; pavement is 15 in. thick and is placed on 12 in. granular subbase; 2 completely integrated paving trains are used for laying 25 ft wide strips of concrete; trains comprise 2 side spreaders, screw spreader with vibrating screen, and finisher float; joints were filled with cold mix plastic material; description of central concrete plant.
