Hydraulic model study of head dissipation at Kncardine power station
River Forth at Kincardine, where 760-MW steam station will draw 1025 cusecs of condenser circulating water from river, is described with particular reference to aspects affecting heat dissipating capacity of river; results obtained from model are outlined and comparison made between recordings for varying conditions; as result of investigation of model, culvert length was considerably reduced.
