Bridging Gorge at Glen Canyon
1280 ft footbridge across Glen Canyon, Ariz, is hung from two 100 ft high structural steel towers, 700 ft above river; each tower is mounted on rockers, held in place by four 2 in. anchor bolts and resting on 3 in. steel base plate; footbridge will provide access to construction site of Colorado River bridge which will be 1028 ft long and 700 ft high.
