Three structures analyzed to illustrate extension of analytical conceptions and procedures in moment distribution; 3-story inclined bent, and 5-panel Vierendeel girder with its top chord inclined, both having equal chord stiffnesses in each panel; "degree-of-fixity" method explained and applied to 7-panel Vierendeel girder, with inclined top chord having second moment of area three times that of bottom chord.
