Concrete pipe sections jacked vertically provide machinery foundations
Large, 5-ft diam concrete pipe was forced down by jacking against frame of building to permit construction of machinery foundation below that of building; by excavating inside pipe, four casings were put down 12 ft at cost of $433; illustrated description of procedure.
