Deflections and stresses in concrete pavements of airfields with continuous elastic joints
Basic theory of study is that given by WESTERGAARD; formulas derived for stresses and deflections of slabs on both sides of joint, and for transfer load; load assumed to be distributed uniformly over entire length of edge of one of slabs, to be placed at some distance from edge, and to consist of series of equal single loads.
