Reconstruction of 60-ft Skew Railway Bridge
Illustrated description of reconstruction of wrought iron girder bridge which carried Metropolitan northbound tracks over London Midland and Scottish Hampstead Junction line on outskirts of London, built in 1879; new bridge consists of steel plate girders and plated cross girders laid at 9 ft centers, longest of which is 27 ft 8 in.
